Arafat: Dead or comatose, take your pick
Well, this article has Arafat in a coma, but this one has him clinically dead. Both are from Reuters, and I appreciate how both use the same, graven photo.

Personally, I've always admired Arafat. He wasn't the best negotiator in the world, but he did win a Nobel Peace Prize in 1994 for his efforts with Shimon Peres and Yutzhak Rabin, and he always held out for the disenfranchised Palestinians, especially those displaced in '67. No matter how you view the policies of Israel, Palestine, and the Mid-East in general, Arafat was a tough old fucker who will be remembered throughout history.
